Sequel to ifilm comedy halfway complete

Filming for the sequel to the ifilm comedy ‘The Good, the Bad, the Corny’ is more than halfway complete, according to a press release.

Directed by Peyman Ghasem-Khani, the sequel entitled ‘The Good, the Bad, the Corny: Secret Army’ began shooting two weeks ago in Tehran.

Produced by Mohsen Chegini and filmed by Hossein Jalili, most of the film’s cast have gone in front of the camera at the film’s main location so far.

The original ‘The Good, the Bad, the Corny’ was a story about two actors and a police detective teaching them how to be a cop for their next movie who end up being caught in a murder case involving a drug gang.

Acting duo Pejman Jamshidi and Sam Derakhshani from the original flick will be starring in the sequel.

Joining them will be ‘Cyanide’ star Hamed Komeili, ‘Father’ star Reyhaneh Parsa, Gohar Kheirandish, Setareh Pesyani, Amir-Mahdi Jouleh, Maral Farjad, Ali Owji, Shakib Shajareh, Elham Shabani, and Farhad Ayish.
